We are in a very exciting period of technological transformation, and Hydro’s information systems landscape is changing rapidly with the use of proactive technologies and innovation.
As we further develop our industrial application portfolio, we are expanding our APICS (Aluminum Production Information Control System) team with several Developers. APICS is one of the core applications used in the production processes in Hydro’s smelters and foundries. It is developed with modern system development methods in cooperation with our business units, and implemented in Europe, USA, South America, and Asia. This is a great opportunity to contribute to Hydro’s digital transformation and use of modern IT technology in an industrial context.
Area of Responsibility
The APICS team, mainly located in Årdal, is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the APICS application as well as providing 24/7 application support.

The preferred location for this role is Årdal, where the Apics team is mainly located. Alternatively, location at Hydro offices in Oslo can be considered.
